When we first began our foray into the world of game development two years ago, we had a funny little goal of trying to make a blog post every week… then every two weeks… then at least monthly… and then only when we really felt we had something to say… The long and short of this is that we lost momentum on the whole ‘blog front.’
We’ve spent the last year or so on various projects, reaching a certain point where forward progress became difficult, and switching to another project. We’ve learned something from each one though, and now we’re returning back to the original ones that we put up on the web site, Bubble Pop and Starfire. For the dozen or so of you who have played these rough prototypes, we would like to hear your feedback on them. We also are nearing feature completion on a new puzzle game called Slidesaw that we hope to make available on the GameMaker Player soon. Having discovered the joy of Steam as well, (and spending more hours than I ever should have on Ark: Survival Evolved and Maple Story…) I will be looking into porting our games to that platform as well. (Looking for someone with experience in that regard, btw…)
